Prayer for Deliverance with Scriptures

Lord, I come before You, trusting in Your promise that You are my refuge and deliverer (Psalm 34:17). Break every chain that binds me, and free me from fear, anxiety, and despair, for whom the Son sets free is free indeed (John 8:36). I stand on Your Word, declaring victory over every stronghold, knowing that no weapon formed against me shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

Prayer for Deliverance with Scriptures

Heavenly Father,

I come before You today with a heart full of faith and a spirit yearning for Your divine intervention. Lord, I acknowledge that You are my refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). I seek Your deliverance from the chains that bind me, from the darkness that surrounds me, and from the trials that weigh heavily on my soul. I trust in Your promise that You will never leave me nor forsake me (Hebrews 13:5).

Father, I stand on Your Word, which assures me that You are the God who delivers. In Psalm 34:17, it is written, “The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; He delivers them from all their troubles.” I cry out to You now, Lord, asking for Your mighty hand to break every chain that holds me captive. I ask for Your deliverance from fear, anxiety, and despair. I declare that You have not given me a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).

Lord Jesus, I remember Your words in John 8:36: “So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” I claim that freedom over my life today. I ask that You remove every obstacle that stands in the way of my peace and joy. I surrender every burden to You, knowing that You care for me (1 Peter 5:7). I ask for Your healing touch to mend the broken places in my heart and spirit.

I pray for deliverance from any strongholds that have taken root in my life. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 10:4-5, “The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.” I take up the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) and stand firm against the schemes of the enemy. I declare that no weapon formed against me shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), for I am more than a conqueror through Him who loves me (Romans 8:37).

Lord, I ask for Your wisdom and discernment to recognize the areas in my life that need Your touch. Help me to identify any sin that may be hindering my relationship with You. I repent of any wrongdoing and ask for Your forgiveness, knowing that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

As I seek Your deliverance, I also pray for those around me who may be struggling. I intercede for my family, friends, and community, asking that You would bring healing and restoration to their lives as well. Your Word says in James 5:16, “The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” I believe in the power of prayer and lift them up to You, trusting that You are working in their lives even now.

Lord, I thank You for the victory that is already mine through Christ Jesus. I rejoice in the promise of Psalm 91:15, “He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.” I hold onto this promise as I wait for Your perfect timing in my life.

As I conclude this prayer, I declare that I am free, I am delivered, and I am walking in the light of Your love. I praise You for Your faithfulness and for the work You are doing in my life. May Your name be glorified in all that I do, and may I be a testimony of Your goodness and grace.

In Jesus’ mighty name, I pray. Amen.
