Prayer for Anxiety Worry and Fear Scriptures

Lord, I lay my fears and worries at Your feet, trusting in Your unfailing love. You have not given me a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Help me to fix my eyes on You, knowing that You are my refuge and my peace, and that You will never leave me nor forsake me (Deuteronomy 31:6).

Prayer for Anxiety Worry and Fear Scriptures

Heavenly Father,

I come before You today with a heart that is heavy with anxiety, worry, and fear. Lord, You know my thoughts before I even speak them (Psalm 139:2), and You see the burdens I carry. You have commanded me not to be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, to present my requests to You (Philippians 4:6). So here I am, Lord, laying my fears at Your feet, trusting in Your unfailing love.

Father, I confess that too often I allow fear to rule my heart instead of faith. But Your Word reminds me that You have not given me a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Strengthen me, Lord, and help me to walk in the confidence of Your promises. When my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to the rock that is higher than I (Psalm 61:2).

Lord, You are my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust (Psalm 91:2). When fear tries to consume me, remind me that You are with me wherever I go, and I do not need to be afraid or discouraged (Joshua 1:9). Help me to cast all my anxieties on You, because You care for me (1 Peter 5:7).

Father, I take comfort in Your promise that You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast because they trust in You (Isaiah 26:3). Help me to fix my eyes on You and not on my circumstances. When doubt creeps in, remind me that You are my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? You are the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid? (Psalm 27:1).

Lord, I surrender my worries to You. I know that worrying cannot add a single hour to my life (Matthew 6:27), but trusting in You brings peace and rest. Help me to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that You will provide for all my needs (Matthew 6:33).

When I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me (Psalm 23:4). Lord, remind me that You are always near, that You will never leave me nor forsake me (Deuteronomy 31:6).

I choose to replace my fear with faith, my worry with worship, and my anxiety with adoration. I declare that You are greater than any fear I face. You are my peace, my protector, and my provider. I trust in You with all my heart and lean not on my own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Thank You, Lord, for Your love that casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). Thank You for the peace that surpasses all understanding, which will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). I rest in Your promises and place my trust in You alone.

In Jesus’ mighty name, I pray,
Amen.
